1. Grant of License
Subject to the terms of this License, Anaconda, Inc. ("Licensor") hereby grants you ("Licensee") a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and revocable license to:

(a) Use, install, and modify the Anaconda Metapackage ("Software") solely within the Anaconda Distribution Installer or Miniconda, and within environments created using the Anaconda Distribution Installer or Miniconda,  

(b) Distribute the Software as part of the Anaconda Distribution Installer or Miniconda, provided that all references to this License are maintained and no modifications are made to the Software except as permitted under this License.

2. Restrictions
(a) Licensee may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially redistribute the Software, in whole or in part, except as explicitly permitted under this License.

(b) Licensee may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices included in the Software.

(c) Licensee may not use the Software to create a substantially similar metapackage for independent commercial distribution outside of Anaconda, Inc.

3. Attribution
Licensee must include a copy of this License and appropriate attribution to Anaconda, Inc. in any permitted distribution of the Software.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL ANACONDA, INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

5. Termination
Anaconda, Inc. reserves the right to terminate this License if Licensee fails to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, Licensee must cease all use and distribution of the Software.

6. Governing Law
This License shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

 7. Entire Agreement
This License constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to such subject matter.
